What is the composition of heat transfer film?
1. Base layer: refers to the carrier of the release layer, printing layer, and adhesive layer - the heat transfer substrate film. The heat transfer substrate film includes pet film, OPP film, PVC film, etc. The corresponding substrate film needs to be selected according to the specific product needs, otherwise it will affect the quality of the heat transfer product.
2. Release layer: It is a layer of release agent coating that maintains a solid state at room temperature and can melt at a certain temperature. The adhesion with the base layer decreases, and it can quickly detach from the base film without any adhesive residue.
3. Printing layer: This layer is the fundamental embodiment of beauty in the patterns of heat transfer products, and its key lies in the selection and combination of heat transfer ink. After the heat transfer process is completed, only the printing layer remains attached to the surface of the heat transfer product. Therefore, the selection of printing layer materials is particularly important, as a slight carelessness can affect the quality of heat transfer products.
4. Adhesive layer: its actual composition is a Hot-melt adhesive. Select the corresponding heat transfer adhesive based on different substrates.
