Four-color printing
1. The so-called four colors are cyan (C), magenta (M), yellow (Y) and black (K) inks. All colors can be mixed through these four inks to finally achieve color graphics and text.
2. Ordinary and common printing, different effects are printed on different substrates.
Spot printing
1. Spot color printing refers to printing the color with a special ink, which is brighter than the color mixed with four colors. Commonly used are special gold and silver.
2. There are many spot colors. With reference to Pantone color card, spot colors cannot achieve gradient printing, and four-color printing can be added if necessary.
The intaglio printing plate of Yujia Printing Factory in Jiedong County, Jieyang City is composed of one dent after another corresponding to the paper version and the surface layer of the printing plate. During packaging and printing, the printing ink is filled into the dent, and the printing ink on the surface layer of the printing plate is scraped off with an ink scraper. There is a certain pressure between the printing plate and the substrate to transfer the printing ink in the dent to the substrate to complete packaging and printing. As a type of printing technology, gravure printing plays a very important leading role in the packaging and printing industry and the publication and distribution of documents and drawings due to its advantages of thick ink layer, bright color, high color saturation, high printability of printing plates, stable quality of printing products, and fast packaging and printing speed.
