About the four steps of the book printing process:
According to the principle of stereo imaging, the left and right pixels are recorded on the photosensitive material from different angles. When viewing, the left eye sees the left pixel and the right eye sees the right pixel. The printed matter produced according to this principle is called stereo printing.
The process of three-dimensional printing is generally divided into four steps.
Step 1: Stereo photography
There are two common methods for taking stereo print originals:
(1) Arc stereo photography: The cylindrical lens plate is photographed in front of the photosensitive film, the optical axis of the camera is aligned with the center of the object to perform an arc motion with an angle of 3 to 10 degrees, and the grating plate in front of the camera photosensitive film The photosensitive sheets are randomly synchronized to move, and after exposure, they are focused into one pixel under each semi-cylindrical of the grating plate. When the camera completes the predetermined distance shooting, the pixels are covered with the entire pitch, and the stereo photos can be obtained after being washed.
(2) Shutter movement method: When shooting, the shutter movement distance is equivalent to the distance between the two eyes (60mm), and the grid is also moved accordingly, and the moving distance is a pitch (0.6mm).
Step 2: Plate making
Pay attention to the following points during the three-dimensional printing process:
(1) Stereo photographs usually adopt the offset plate making method. Considering the fineness of the stereo image pixels and the magnification of the cylindrical grating, the density of the mesh line must not be lower than 300 lines/inch.
(2) Since the three-dimensional original is composed of a series of closely arranged pixels, after the plate making and printing, the cylindrical mirror plate is also combined. Therefore, the three-dimensional printing is different from the ordinary color printing screening angle, in order to avoid the moiré, different gratings The three-dimensional printing of the distance should have different angles of the combination of the yellow, magenta, cyan, and black colors. Among them, the blue and black versions can have the same angle. If the three-color ink is overlaid, it is close to neutral gray. The error caused by the four overprints does not have to be printed in black.
Step 3: Printing
The paper used for three-dimensional Shanghai printing must be compact, smooth, flat, and small in flexibility, and it will not fade after printing.
Generally, a high-precision four-color printing machine is used, and the workshop is required to have constant temperature and humidity conditions.
Step 4: Composite cylindrical mirror plate
After printing, the surface needs to be covered with a cylindrical mirror plate to have a three-dimensional effect. The cylindrical lens grid is made of hard plastic and soft plastic. When the width is large, hard plastic is used.
Stereo printing has the following characteristics:
1. The image has a strong three-dimensional effect.
2. The three-dimensional printed original can be formed by modeling or scene shooting, and ink printing is resistant to high temperatures.
3. The surface of the printed product is covered with a layer of concave and convex mirror-shaped grating plate, which can directly view the stereoscopic effect of the panoramic picture.
4. Color printing must be carried out according to the plan to avoid the expansion and contraction of the paper, resulting in inaccurate overprinting.
The main elements of three-dimensional printing include:
(1) Paper: Three-dimensional printing paper requires tight, smooth, flat, and small stretch, and there are many applications for coated paper and cardboard.
(2) Grating sheet material: There are mainly hard plastic three-dimensional grating sheets and soft plastic three-dimensional grating sheets.
